Our Film
This classroom project starts with our documentary film,
“Time Out of Joint: Prison Reflections on Shakespeare”.
Directed by Steve Rowland, the film is sort of like a men’s group inside a NY State prison. The 16 amazing men watch Shakespeare films and talk about the parallels they see between the plays and their own lives.

Perfect to instigate classroom discussions!
Below are excerpts of the men who were part of Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) workshops inside Woodbourne Correctional Facility. These were filmed during our “Shakespeare & Me” workshop.
